Water Rescue - Indian River Inlet

RBVFC along with USCG, DNREC, Open Water Rescue Team, Sussex County EMS, DSP Trooper 2, Marine 82, were dispatched for a reported possible drowning at the Northside surfing beach at the Indian River Inlet on Saturday, Aug. 8th. A subject was reported missing by their family and could not be located after being in the water. Units searched for about 1 hour, with the subject being located on a raft north of the incident. No injuries were reported.
