Annual Members Awards Banquet

RBVFC held their Annual Members Awards Banquet on Saturday, April 1st at the Rehoboth Beach Convention Center. A packed house of 200 enjoyed a great meal by Bethany Blue's along with Socializing with their fellow brother & sister Firefighter's. Several Guests were recognized for the support of the RBVFC, to include Honorary Helmet Presentations to Steve Montgomery & Sanford Hazzard for all of their support. 50 Year Member Sam Cooper was recognized for his service along with Tributes from State Sen. Russ Huxtable, Speaker Pete Schwartzkopf and Councilman Mark Schaffer. Ladies Auxiliary Member Debbie Marsch was given her 20 Year Service Award with the Auxiliary giving a $15,000.00 check to the New Aerial Tower Fund. Ducks Unlimited presented a check for over $50,000.00 for the Gun Bash Fundraiser that was held in early March. Many Members were recognized with presentation's including the Chief's Award to AC Gordon Boslet, and Presidents Awards to Karl Hornberger, Jeremiah Burton, Cole Fluharty & Wyatt Simpler. Past President Danny Mitchell was remembered with recognition to Danny's Mother Shirley and Niece & Nephew, Katy Miller and Don Don Mitchell. The evening wrapped up with a Slide Program Looking Back at 2022.
