Assist Sta. 82 Plantations East

Firefighters from Rehoboth Beach assisted Lewes, Milton, Slaughter Beach, Georgetown, Indian River, Millville and Bethany Beach battled a house fire at 304 Lakeside Drive in Plantations East off of Plantation's Road near Lewes on Thursday morning at approx. 0125 hrs during a heavy thunderstorm that was passing through the area. Crews arrived to find heavy fire throughout the structure with no occupants inside. The blaze caused heavy damage the home, as crews were on the scene for several hours battling the blaze. No Injuries were reported as the Delaware State Fire Marshal is investigating.
