Reported Building Fire At The CVS - 4298 Coastal Highway Rehoboth

At 1305 hours the Rehoboth Beach, Bethany Beach and Lewes Fire Companies along with Sussex County Paramedics were dispatched to a reported building fire at the CVS drug store on Coastal Highway. Command 86 responded with 86-19 (Asst. Chief Farren) and was advised by dispatch that the r.p. reported smoke coming from the vents in the building. 19 arrived and advised a single story commercial with nothing evident. Crews from the 1st in engine (864) searched the interior and advised command that they had a light haze coming from the A/C vent. The crew from tower 86 went to the roof to check the A/C units finding a unit with a burnt belt. Command was advised and all units were put in service.
